Social Events

As a Money Hill club member, you’ll enjoy a fabulous schedule of organized social events each year. Each is planned to satisfy varying tastes and lifestyles and provides fun and interaction for the whole family. For example:

  • Wine Tasting lets participants select the club’s wine list by voting for their favorites while sampling Chef Jim’s delicacies from The Grille
  • Dinner Dances let you dine and dance the night away with local talent
  • Family Night themed dinners crank up the family fun each month
  • Family Campouts get the whole family around the fire for fun and games

There’s also Sophisticated Dinners, Holiday Celebrations and more rounding out our non-stop social calendar.

Organizations & Community Groups

Complementing the social calendar, Money Hill’s organizations and community groups provide a wide variety of fun, learning, friendly-competition and entertainment to suit your interests.

The Men's Golf association

Golf is more than a pastime for these dedicated enthusiasts who host regular sporting events for our members and their guests. There’s no better way to sharpen your chip shots, entertain business clients or just meet some great new people with similar interests.

The Ladies' Golf association

Give the men a run for their money as a member of this preeminent group dedicated to hosting fun-filled events, with the opportunity for challenging play, for both experienced and inexperienced golfers.

Retired Old Boys (ROBS)

Banded together to socialize and play in inter-club tournaments.

The Monarchs

Ladies of all ages looking for a little diversion will enjoy this social organization. They sponsor field trips, support charities and host regular monthly meetings highlighting entertainment and guest speakers.

Bridge Clubs

When we say, "Duplicate, Rubber, Chicago, Honeymoon or Mini" and you say "Count me in!", then a Bridge Club is the place for you. With ladies', men's and co-ed groups available, or one you design yourself, you can be sure to have some friendly competition as you enjoy the game.

The Hunt Club

For all serious field-sport enthusiasts, whether you prefer Guided, Self-Guided or Helicopter hunts, to talk turkey, deer, duck, wild boar and more.

The Trails Club

An all-volunteer club, with support from The Nature Conservancy, that explores, designs and maintains the network of woodland savanna trails around Money Hill.

The Community Garden

Green thumbs unite in our community garden where budding horticulturalists can learn from our more experienced members in growing everything from flowers, shrubs and trees to vegetables, fruits and succulents.

Book Clubs

Self-organized by passionate residents & members, book clubs are open to bibliophiles of all ages and genres, whether you are an avid reader of history, fiction, poetry, technical manuals or just starting off on your own literary exploration.

Additional groups are involved with nature conservancy, fishing, and other interesting projects around the community. Ask for more information about groups that may be forming or propose one of your own.
