Kids at Money Hill

Money Hill is a multi-generational community. It is a secluded place where respect for nature, the neighborhood and one's neighbors are the norm. There are plenty of open spaces to roam and explore. The swim club and playground at the main clubhouse are kid-friendly favorites.

Our calendar of events routinely offers options that are especially designed for families. Social events at the club range from Family Camp Outs to our regular Family Night Dinners at the clubhouse. Events often include children's menus with reduced pricing.

Each summer Money Hill hosts a 10-week Junior Golf Program for boys and girls age 13 and under. The program offers clinics and play days on the course, culminating in a Parent/Child Scramble and Cookout. Starting in June each year and ending in early August, the program has become a favorite for first-time instruction as well as an annual event for returning junior players who want to learn more about the game and spend time with their friends. Private lessons are available for teenagers year round. The last nine holes of the course also have special children's tees to encourage year-round parent/child play.

We are also proud to support the BC Cup Foundation. This non-profit group hosts their annual, regional children's golf event, the BC Cup, at Money Hill. The Foundation uses the event proceeds to offer scholarships to exceptional young golfers from our area.

More importantly, however, Money Hill is a wonderful place to raise a family. Public education is excellent and has received national recognition in 2009. A number of respected private schools are also available. Learn more about education in St. Tammany Parish.
